The Robolinux developers had the pleasure of announcing the immediate availability for download and testing of a brand-new edition of their open-source computer operating system, this time built around the modern and beautiful KDE Software Compilation graphical desktop environment. It is a distro where the main emphasis is on running Windows applications natively.
As you probably know already, Robolinux is a Debian-based operating system, a distribution of GNU/Linux that tries to convert as many Windows users as possible to the open-source ecosystem. “We believe that Robolinux KDE V7.8.1 is the fastest and most customizable KDE operating system available today. Windows Users are going to love it as it runs their Windows applications natively inside using Stealth VM,” was stated in the official website of the product.
We were very curious to see what all the fuss is about, so we took Robolinux KDE for a spin today. Well, after a couple of hours of testing, we’ve arrived at the conclusion that the operating system is extremely fast, very responsive, easy-to-use, and looks quite great, not to mention that it comes with a wide range of applications and various attractive features.
It includes the revolutionary Robolinux C: drive to VM package
Of course, the revolutionary Robolinux C: drive to VM (Virtual Machine) package that helps Windows users to easily and quickly convert their C: drive from Microsoft Windows to a virtual machine that will be used on top of the Robolinux distribution is also present in this brand-new KDE edition.
