Zimbra Mail Server (physical to Virtual migration

having a physical mail server which is running for very few users and dont need a huge server for that application. In RHEL 5.8. To migrate it to a virtual server (Red Hat virtualization ) do i need to install zimbra and config users or can i follow the below steps.
first have to deploy the OS rhel 5.8,
use dd if=physical of=backupdisk and
dd if=backup of=virtualdisk.
then ip config. is these are the steps or if any please share as i'm doing this activity for first time, need suggestions

Hello,

Inorder to migrate it to a virtual server you need to make sure that you install the same version of zimbra mail server that you have installed in the base machine.
You can follow the steps in the bellow given links for migrating.
