Linus Torvalds Still Deciding Linux 3.20 vs. Linux 4.0

Linus Torvalds is still deciding when to bump the kernel version to Linux 4.0.
Back in 2013 Torvalds talked of renaming Linux 3.20 to Linux 4.0 when the time came, but as talked about in several articles since then, there hasn't been much communication whether the in-development Linux 3.20 will be re-branded as Linux 4.0. Like with the move from Linux 2.6.x to Linux 3.0, Torvalds wanted to move to v4.0 simply since the minor point release numbers were getting high.
It seems Linus is still deciding himself whether to move to Linux 4.0 now so he's quietly started a poll via his Google+ page. He wrote, "We're slowly getting up there again, with 3.20 being imminent, and I'm once more close to running out of fingers and toes. I was making noises about just moving to 4.0 some time ago. But let's see what people think. So - continue with v3.20, because bigger numbers are sexy, or just move to v4.0 and reset the numbers to something smaller?"
As of writing, 57% are voting for "v4.0, 'cause I get confused easily" while 43% voted for "I like big versions, and I cannot lie."
