Logged in users on a Linux server are counted twice

There are some possibilities that might show multiple logins.

[*]Check whether you have initiated any "Screen" sessions behind your main pts/0.(use "screen -r" to check the sessions)
[*]Also check, any scripts that were running with the user "faketester" behind your screen.

Use Ctrl+d to logout from all sessions, if you cant find a proper solution from the above points.
