Hi,
I have a dedicated server with Linux. I have the IP address and a password for controlling the server. However, I want to control it from a Windows XP or Windows 2008 (server) computer. How can I do that?
How can I remotely control a Linux server from a Windows PC?

You can use an SSH program to access the server’s terminal from Windows. Windows doesn’t come with an SSH program, so you’ll have to download one like PuTTY http://www.putty.org/ to login to the linux servers having Secure Shell.
