Unable to build a usb?

Postby rani » Mon Mar 02, 2015 11:05 pm

I was trying to build my usb a bootable one and when I executed the script it shows an error message as follows:

/dev/sdb may have had a filesystem on it.Usually the third sector contains this information so wipe the first few sectors, create the partition and try again.

Hence I tried erasing the first sector and eventually the entire device. But still I have the same problem. How can I resolve it?

Hi Rani,

A tool named "rmprepusb" could wipe out the unwanted sectors from your pendrive. Download and install rmprepusb from http://www.rmprepusb.com/.

Hope it works :) :)
